Match Report
King's Ely Boys-U13A vs  Witham Hall School
On: Wednesday, 11 Oct 2023
Venue: Away

The U13A’s travelled to Witham Hall on a wet and windy day looking to add a bit of brightness back into their season after last week.

The game started slowly with both sides trading punches, but it was King’s who scored first with Will Lloyd-Harvey breaking through a couple of tackles. This opened the game up, allowing Vincent Jethwa to find some space after gathering a kick from Witham Hall and setting up Theo Hogg in the corner with some lovely footwork.

King’s started to gain some confidence and throw the ball around in some difficult conditions. King’s went into half time 30-0 up.

After the break the King’s defence stayed strong and withheld some strong carries from Witham. Caden Fusinak then capitalised on some great King’s plays to score a couple of tries. The King’s defence stayed strong which was excellent to see as that is what we wanted to improve upon.

The end score was 50-0 to King’s
