U12A Rugby Match Report Vs Witham Hall

The boys arrived at a wet Witham Hall on Wednesday afternoon. The conditions were tough but both teams played outstanding rugby. The King’s Ely U12A team put pressure on the Witham Hall team, spending the first 10 minutes within their 22 meter and finally got their first try of the game. Pressure continued to build and B.Golding dotted down from a quick thinking snipe from a couple of meters out. 2nd half was equally as physical with huge tackles being made from both teams and when J.Dines and W.Goosen muscled their way through to get tries 3 and 4. L.Symington wrapped up the game with a try of his own to make the final score 25-0. All the King’s Ely boys were absolutely brilliant and played some great rugby through the hands and off the scrum half in tough conditions. Well done everyone.
