Match Report
King's Ely Girl’s U13B vs  Culford School Girls-U13C
On: Wednesday, 11 Oct 2023
Venue: Away

The match was played against Culford School and the King’s Ely team played a fantastic game. We lost 2:1 to Culford but showed skills that would have beaten them by a mile. Alice Hills played a fantastic game with lots of skills such as a drag, and Freya Axten-Higgs did many fantastic reverse sticks to other team members. Well done Georgia Payne for getting player of the match!

Match Report 11.10.2023 (Against Culford)

The under 13B girls played very well in this first match on Wednesday 11th of October coming out on top with a score of 2:0. The encouragement that each goal gave them helped them get better as the match continued. Lottie Means got Player of the Match for her outstanding performance as defender when she tackled the ball off many girls and did some amazing goal-preventing stops (when it had been hit very hard) before it even entered the D. Her stops were both clean and effective-well done Lottie!

Freya Axten-Higgs scored 2 goals winning the girls their first victory of hopefully many. She was helped all the way by Lorelei Clarke who passed to her, giving her the winning shot. Alice Hills was also amazing as left & right wing as she was confident in passing and receiving the ball on her reverse stick side. Eleanor Grimshaw and Stella Surbey were great defenders alongside Lottie. Georgia Payne and Flora Surbey were both very good in centre-mid and right wing also assisting Freya in her superb goal scoring.
